Thin and tasteless

Wine has little substance and is 8%. OK with lemonade for a light refreshing drink, but not good on its own.

Shouldn't even be given away

This is by far the foulest "wine" I have ever had in my life. I am by no means a wine snob but this is totally undrinkable. Even if it's being offered free, don't take it - and certainly don't pay for it

Not For Me!

I do like a good full bodied red wine but with that easy drink label, I'm no expert in wine tasting but I know what I like and unfortunately this has to be the worse wine I have tasted in years. It tastes like flavoured water and would not reccommend this to any one, I wouldn't even put it into cooking.Unforyunately I bought 6 bottles and will have to throw it away I wouldn't even give it away.

This is NOT wine

Everything you expect from a low alcohol drink; it's terrible and should not be classified as a wine. This is a fruit juice and a bad one at that! Don't make the mistake and buy it.

Not wine

Absolutely vile. Returned to store with one bottle 3/4 full. Only refunded for the 5 unopened. I left the 3/4 for the staff to 'enjoy'. Please don't keep this so called wine in your listings. I note that you have dropped the price to £15 a case - still not worth it!

Only good thing is I got the refund

This "wine" drinks like a fruit squash. In my opinion it is NOT a wine. I made a stupid mistake and ordered it twice over a period of time as I had forgotten the name with how bad it was before. The good thing was that Tesco refunded me in full on both occasions. The only reason I must remember the name is so I don't order it again.

Tastes like it has been watered down to reduce alcohol content. Vile.

Low Alcohol Light Red Wine

As a red wine lover, I find this wine ideal for parties as it's easy-drinking, goes with all the usual party snacks, gets everyone happy & chatting, but nobody gets drunk! No next day hangovers either! Okay, it's not the sort of wine to accompany your beef stew or venison, but it's an affordable fun wine for a group of friends enjoying a social get together.

Silver bay point red

By Sam69

It may boast lots of things, but it tastes horrid. I've managed to drink a couple of bottles, but the only good use so far has been to mull it with spices and a cinnamon stick, then adding a dash of brandy before serving. Even this doesn't fully disguise the background taste. I keep tripping over the case of 12 bottles wondering when they'll end up down the sink. Also despite clearing the snow from our drive, the delivery driver still managed to drive over my lawn. Not in a hurry to order from Tesco again.

Silver bay wine @Tesco

This red wine is nice for drinking during the working week evenings as it is light and Lower in alcohol leaving you ready for another day at work. Only bought from Tesco it is quite good value for money especially when it was available at two bottles for £5.00. Dont forget though that it is only 8 per cent alcoholic.

Not being a red wine drinker I was very surprised to enjoy this wine. It has quite a fruity flavour and none of the bitterness I usually find with red wine. I'd quite happily drink this wine.

I received 3 bottles of this rubbish in my 'mystery dozen reds case' . I was very pleased with the other 9 but I found this a poor excuse for 'wine.'

No after taste, becaus it has no taste at all. It has the colour of dilute ribena, without the flavour.

Nice, light and fruity

If you are a Shiraz drinker or for that matter, a drinker of any other full bodied wine this will be a disappointment to you. If, however, you wish a light ,fruity wine that you can drink at anytime you wish you should like this. You will not drink too much (unless you drink bottles of it) for the average drinker. I find it pleasant though a little light but would recommend it especialy if you have a glass to many.

Too sweet and a very poor wine, unless you like lemonade and sodas. I felt that I was cheated here and would not recommend this wine. Sorry.

I am personally pleased that Tesco continues to stock a low alcohol wine. Understandably a very light wine, a bit sweeter than I'd prefer, but a pleasant enough wine at its low price.
