A medium-bodied wine.
With a gorgeous, jewel-like colour, the wine has fruit flavours of dried cranberry, watermelon and fresh cherry.
The 2008 White Zinfandel has lingering aromas of sweet raspberries and notes of tropical fruit.

For four generations the Gallo family has been bringing consumers quality wines, innovation and value for money. And we’ve never been more proud than we are of our latest vintage. Delicious tasting wines in all new packaging – definitely something to raise a glass to.
Cal Dennison
The varietal thrives in warm climate and can be found in a number of California’s wine growing regions, including Central Valley situated at the foot of Sierra Nevada Mountains. The sheltered environment created by the mountains favours a long growing season in the valley. Warm daytime temperatures often cool down at night, encouraging grapes to ripen slowly. Zinfandel accumulates deep and concentrated character on the vine when given a week or two of additional hang time.

Excellent Rose wine goes well with a BBQ but also just on its own with some cheese and Biscuits, Nice easy wine to have light meals Good quality and well worth it I find it goes well with Tomato based sauces.

Lovely wine, very easy on the pallet, would be great for a BBQ. Crisp, fresh taste.

I bought this for my wife who likes this and the almost identical Gallo White Grenache. The White Zinfandel is well priced, with a fine bouquet and pleasing colour. So far so good. I just find it a bit sweet. I personally prefer drier roses. But this is certaibly quaffable and will go well with most meals including chicken, fish and pasta meals. I don't like it with red meats personally. I have noticed that most women who taste it like it. Or maybe most women I know who I've offered it to just have a sweet tooth! So my advice is buy it if you like sweetish wines.

One of my favourite wines at present as I do not like dry wine at all.I also enjoy the Fetzer 5 valley oaks white zinfandel which is similar to the gallo but quite difficult to find.
