Since its foundation in 1998, DFJ has won more wine awards than any other Portuguese winery. José Neiva is the proprietor and winemaker of DFJ Vinhos. He is one of Portugal’s most experienced and respected winemakers and is renowned for producing innovative and exciting wines.
Storks Landing is made at Quinta do Porto Franco in Portugal, José Neiva’s family estate. Around 30 storks nest on the magnificent estate buildings of Quinta da Fonte Bela. The area benefits from many sunshine hours that ripen grapes to perfection. However the cooling influence of the Atlantic Ocean lengthens the ripening cycle and leads to very intense and complex wine.
