Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
This Pinot Gris has a perfumed, floral aroma mixed with honey and spice.
It is full and rich, lightly smoky and smooth.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 2 years

Of the 2011 vintage, Rob Buckhaven said: “Tesco’s Finest Alsace Pinot Gris has flecks of smoked honey and star anise.”
Since 1998 winemaker Michel Lihrmann, has selected grapes from 280 growers and over 330 hectares of Alsace vines. With healthy and ripe grapes, Michel strongly believes that varietals in Alsace should express their delicate characteristics.
From the vineyards surrounding the village of Turckheim in Alsace, North West France, the grapes are selected from vineyards with diverse soils which impart character and styles to the overall blend.

Delightfully fresh and showing the characteristics of much more expensive wine from this Franco-German border area. will definitely buy again

Wonderful smooth example of Pinot Gris which is especially good produced here in Alsace. Easy to drink and fills the mouth with flavour. So much better than some weedy Pinot Grigios ( same grape). I buy it regularly
