A light, dry.
refreshing and fragrant wine, which has flavours of apple, ripe pears and citrus.

This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 1 year
The San Marco estate is located in the Frascati hills overlooking Rome. Over recent years, the family owned winery has invested in vineyard and winery to ensure consistency and quality. Vines are restricted to a relatively low yield 60hl/ha with Guyot and double Guyot training. The wines are attractive, fruity and forward in the modern style.
Piero Violo
A blend of Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia di Candia, Malvasia Puntinata and Bonvino grapes, grown in the hills of South of Rome.

I'm sure I have tried this wine before and it was not so hideous! I am hoping its just a bad bottle but I can not bring myself to open the other five I bought. I should remember never to gamble especially when it comes to wine! I'm just asking my husband to try it now..... Yip it's as I expected his expert opinion was "oh yuk"!, yes not yuck!!

Bought this wine for a charity event, to go with a curry lunch but it didn't work. Much too dry for most tastes, especially when someone discovered the Chablis. We had bought a case of the Frascati online plus another 3 from the store and had to bring 6 bottles home. I've been giving it away to unsuspecting associates.

It is exactly what it says in the description: A light, dry. refreshing and fragrant wine, which has flavours of apple, ripe pears and citrus. So it's one of my affordable favourites which I happily to everyone!

Consistently good wine, full of flavour, light enough without being insipid, full enough to provide flavour. A firm favourite in our house

I FIND THIS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY FOR A CRISP AND DRY WHITE WINE, WHICH DOES NOT HAVE THE FISSY ACIDITY OF SOME OTHER WHITE WINES IN THE SAME PRICE BAND
