Made with the Charmat method from Tempranillo grapes at the state of the art Garcia Carrion winery Daimiel in La Mancha, Spain.

This review is for the 2012 vintage
The description implied that this would be a fruity tasting wine and my wife and I both like a rose wine now and again. However we were disappointed with this one and found it lacked any real flavour.

TRIED THIS AT FIRST AS IT IS LOWER IN ALCOHOL BUT WAS SURPRISED AT THE GREAT FLAVOURS OF THIS LOWER PRICED CAVA, HAVE NOW BOUGHT THIS WINE REPEATEDLY OVER MANY MONTHS.

I bought a case back in the summer and it is lovely. It is still full of flavour despite being lower ABV (8%), which is also good as I am trying to cut down. I find the really low alchohol wines rather too 'thin' but this still has body. I'm back here to buy some more - can't believe it's not been reviewed before.
