Tasting Notes
Bright, pale yellow in colour with a fresh perfume of peach and pineapple alongside more savoury, stony notes.
On the palate the wine is lively with medium body and good intensity of citrus and stone fruit, as well as a firm mineral zip lasting all the way to the long finish.

What our expert says
Aladame is one of the rising stars of the younger generation of French vignerons, and has already attracted a considerable amount of attention in France. His wines are deeply serious and rank among the best to come from this appellation. Unlike many young winemakers, Stéphane is not carrying on a family tradition. Instead, at the age of 18, having finished his studies in Beaune, he started renting vineyards to make wine before buying a modest 6.5 hectares of his own. His vineyards are now organic.
