Good price , good taste, with everyday dinner or after a long day at work can not tell the difference with it,s French cousin. Will buy again

Pleasant taste with no aftertaste and great value for the price.

I was pleasently surprised if you like a medium to full bodied red this is an ideal every day wine

this is a very reasonably priced wine,very drinkable when having a meal with friends and then playing cards.wouldnt let you down if you gave it as a gift,or took it to a party.

Lovely wine, especially for the price. I like my wine and I won't drink rubbish but at the same time I like a bargain, so was really pleased with this red.

for me this wine was superb..drink it anytime ..really tasty,strong yet fruity..just excellent

How the original reviewer decided this was soomth is beyond me as i really found it rather rough on the palate. It is the frst time however that i have sampled bulgarian wine and so perhaps this is smother than others but i really doubt it. I cannot be too critical as it is a very inexpensive wine and so i suppose it was alright for what i paid for it. I must say though that i will not be ordering it again.

Tastes as good as wines far more expensive. Perhaps not fashionable but very capable.

A very good "ordinary" wine for quaffing. Well balanced but fairly standard flavour as you would expect at this price.

Bulgarian wines used to be very good at cheap prices. This tastes as if it has other additives. My initial reaction on first taste was ..not bad for the money and then other flavours developed which did not suit my palate. You get what you pay for.

This is three star mainly because of the price. I am not too fussy about wines and not really that knowledgeable but this wine is in my opinion just about drinkable.

As the title says. I don't drink much red wine but have recently converted to drinking it. I would recommend this wine. However, when we made our last grocery order and 12 bottles of this wine, we were substituted with 3 (yes 3, not 12) bottles of different random red wines. We don't have a tesco store near us so I doubt I'll ever drink this again. Good old tesco ruin it AGAIN!

This is a great Merlot varietal at a very affordable price made by Domaine Boyar which is one of Bulgaria's major wine producing companies. Hopfully Bulgarian Wines will make a come back in the future as they are so worthy of a better market presence!

Satisfactory flavour and good value for money. Ideaal for casual drinking

a good, easy drinking wine, very reasonably priced,equally as nice as a lot of more expensive bottles of red,good to drink on its own on a friday night as well as with a steak on a saturday

Reka Valley Merlot is a well made good all round light red. Compliments all food and is a great party wine. Well priced and consistant. A winner.

Great value full bodied red great with red meats Pasta or just by itself Just ordered my next lot!

At the price I feared the worst. Fears absolutely unfounded. Very drinkable wine.

Lovely fruity wine with a slight dryness about it . I am not normally a red wine drinker but IIkea this one

The first time we sampled this wine was one of Tesco's Special Offers in Store ... I picked a Bottle up, looked at the word Bulgarian and put it back ... Two minutes later I picked it up again and that evening we drank a bottle with our Meal ... It's been a firm favourite ever since!
