This Pink Elephant slips down beautifully. The only problem with it is that you end up drinking too much.

As it said on the label that it was ideally suited to spicy food, we tried it with a big take in Chinese Banquet for 4. It was pleasant. We had 1 bottle in a box of 12 Mystery Rose but we do not think we would rush out to buy a box of 6 of this particular wine, mainly because we preferred other mystery ones from the box.

portugese rose are some of the best in the world and this is a fine example of a fruity wine to drink on its own or with a meal especially spicy food

We were first introduced to this wine at Nando's restaurant so delighted to see it on the Tesco list. We'll look forward to ordering more in the future. It is a wine which seems to go with most meals. A recent visitor from France who worked for a famous wine house loved it with her Cranachan trifle.

Great Value for Money

I first tried this wine a few years ago at a restaurant where it was £14.25 a bottle! Although i enjoyed it, I did think the price was a bit steep. I was really pleased when I saw it on the Tesco website for £31.50 per case. It's hard to find a wine that isn't too sweet or dry, but this definately was just my kind of tipple.

We like the wine and buy regularly but only at the special reduced prices. The "normal" price is a joke.

Flying pink elephants

We first tried this wine in its home country, Portugal and took a stong liking to it then. We then had it again and again and when visiting Gibraltar, we found it there also. Tried to find it back in old blighty but struggled until we found it at Tesco Wine. We order it regularly. Some people say that rose is a summer wine but I say it's flavour is good enough for all year round drinking. Please don't discontinue it. Mrs Jackson Oxford
