Rich Tawny colour, with an excellent nose of nuts and hints of mature fruit.
On the palate light and delicate, beautifully rounded, with hints of dried fruits, and a long elegant finish.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 2 years
Jamie Goode - S Magazine (Sunday Express) 22/07/2012"This is the modern face of tawny port and comes beautifully packaged. Fruity and appealing with red cherry, spice and raisin flavours, this is sweet and rounded with fruit-cake character."
Giles Kime - Sunday Telegraph 10/02/2013"This fresh, nutty style of port is a delicious match for anything you might normally serve with sweet wine, madeira or sauternes - rich puddings, cheese and chocolate cake. Serve lightly chilled."
Warre’s Ports are distinguished for their structure, power and softly perfumed nose. They have a particularly fresh and elegant style. Warre’s Ports are renowned the world over for their excellence and are consistently placed amongst the best in comparative tastings. Otima 10 year old Tawny Port has a light delicate palate, challenging the perception of Port as a dark and fullbodied after dinner drink. Warre’s Otima has a ground-breaking contemporary design with a broad consumer appeal, whose radically different packaging was produced to appeal to younger drinkers.

Douro is a Portuguese wine region centered around the Douro River in the Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro region. It is sometimes referred to as the Alto Douro (upper Douro), as it is located some distance upstream from Porto, sheltered by mountain ranges from coastal influence. It is very hot during the summer reaching temperature in excess of 40 degrees celcius in the summer perfect for the indigenious grape varieties of this region. The region has Portugal's highest wine classification as a Denominação de Origem Controlada (DOC). While the region is associated primarily with Port wine production (fortified wine), the Douro also produces table wine (non-fortified wines).
