A rich combination of dark cherry and blackcurrant fruit with layers of spice and vanilla.
Bold flavours and vibrant fruit make this deeply satisfying and delicious.

South-Eastern Australia, rather than being a wine region in the standard sense, is officially classified as a viticultural 'super zone'. It covers the entire south-eastern third of Australia, a vast area whose western boundary measures some 1250 miles (2000 km) and reaches from the Pacific coast in Queensland to the Indian Ocean coast in South Australia. Between these two oceans the Australian continent offers up dry riverbeds, rainforest, mountain ranges, endless scrubland, red deserts and eventually the cooler wine-growing valleys of the south coast.

This is the second case purchased by us, because we enjoyed the first case so much. It is much better than many wines we have paid double or triple the price for. Excellent value for money.

This wine is ok at the offer price but not in my view worth the full retail price. The added merlot takes over from the cabernet and the shiraz, a little more added shiraz might just help to give a little more excitement to what I consider to be a boring Ausie red. There are more superior wines at a better price to be had (YOU DID ASK)

You can't get many good Aussie wines that are only 12.5% alcohol by volume, or at such a bargain price. This wine hits the palate and the pocket very nicely. The website description says it all. Seems to suit all types of food. I've just ordered my third case. Recommended buy.

We loved this at the price we paid (sub £5). My wife and I drank it with some great game and red meat dishes and it complimented them well. My son just drank it as he liked it. Can't fault him.

I ordered 6 bottles of this to drink as a reasonably priced "plonk" However I was pleasantly surprised at just how drinakable it was. Mellow, fruity, not too much acidity and a wine that could accompny almost any meal or be drunk on its own. Good value for money and I shall certainly be looking out for this one again!

This wine is very good for the price! Nice and smooth Good tip serve slightly warmer than normal Red Wine and let it breathe for over an hour to release the full flavour!

I love a good heavy bodied red wine and most Shiraz fit the bill. I am not an expert but lets face it some experts recommendations can be a big let down. I have been exploring the range of Shiraz on offer and for quality and price this fits the bill. Long live Australia

A very pleasant semi-full-bodied table wine that is eminently drinkable on opening. Even more flavour if the bottle is kept at room temperature and the bottle opened a hour before drinking. At £7.99 it may lose out to its many competitors(although we have paid this full price for it and not regretted it) but at Tesco's special reduced prices it is an outright winner and we always watch out for it. We served it to acclaim at a recent dinner party
