Lovely wine but surely it should be rated DRY!

This wine disappointed us but only because it was too dry for our taste. I do feel that this wine should be in the DRY section - the bottle classifies it as dry but Tesco have put it in the Medium section. Friends who like a drier wine think it is gorgeous but we are very disappointed. Perhaps time to change the category Tesco?

Not the 2010 vintage

This review is for the 2011 vintage

For those who enjoyed the 2010 vintage the 2011 is a different beast. Although sharing much the same flavour profile of red fruit and hints of spun sugar this one is much darker in colour. This increase in tannin separates this wine from other rosè and makes it more comparable to a light pinot or a red sancerre in structure, being slightly more astringent and drying. the aforementioned fruit content saves it though. The 2010 was a 4*.
