We found this wine rough and disappointing. Would not buy it again or recommend it at all. Pinotage is usually one of our favourite wines. Not this!

Nice and mellow drinking. Just what you need when you have had a hard day.

My wife and I came across pinotage wines on a holiday in South Africa and were immediately hooked. Thye all come over as fruity, full-bodied and are fairly high in alcohol (13-14%, typically). But, they are also smooth and tasty. We drink this excellent Tesco pinotage both with meats (generally red, but not exclusively) and also on its own, or with cheese. Terrific value at less than a fiver.

This is the second SIMPLY range I have sampled and like the Malbec is an excellent wine for the price range.

With a small Chicken & tomato roast and Parsnip & Potato surround, the Simply Pinotage gave the meal a lift to try again for! Roll on the next attempt! Roll on the next case.
