World-class Sauvignon Blanc and Marlborough go hand-in-hand, thanks to the unique climate of this part of New Zealand- With trademark flavours of gooseberry and juicy stonefruit and a mouthwatering aftertaste, this is a rich, complex wine that can be enjoyed on its own or
with seafood.
This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 2 years
This very classy Sauvignon Blanc is a one off parcel released on to the open market by one of Marlborough’s best wineries. The producer’s name is rarely revealed to the purchaser and was definitely not in this case. All we can go on is the quality of the wine which is outstanding.
Lined with fields of vines as far as the eye can see, the Old Renwick Road leads into the town of Renwick, right in the heart of the winemaking region of Marlborough. Here, on the banks of the Wairau River, at the northern end of New Zealand's South Island, is where we source the grapes for this premium parcel of wine.
Marlborough is one of the regions of New Zealand, located in the northeast of the South Island, known for its dry climate, the picturesque Marlborough Sounds, and sauvignon blanc wine.

this is a very good wine and excellent value for money. it is good to drink "on the decking" on a hot sunny afternoon ( if we ever get one !) or just as an super easy drink with a few nuts and crisps watching saturday night tv. It is very good with a nice piece of lemon sole and a few potatoes of your choice.

A terrific wine and great value for money when 50% off! It has all the good flavours a refined Sauvignon Blanc should have without the acidic after taste which spoils so many other members of the class

This wine certainly wasnt one. It is dreadful. I think it is too bad to even give away. I think I will have no alternative but to pour it down the drain. I certainly cant drink it.

I bought this wine when it was on offer and have not been disappointed. I diliberately look for Sauvignon particularly New Zealand or South African . I had a cousin visiting when the wine arrived and she too was of the opinion it was a very good wine - so it was thumbs from us.

A delightful Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, crisp, dry but not too acidic. We normally stick to Wairau Cove or Ocean's Edge but think this is better and would buy it again.

I nearly always drink Sauvignon Blanc, and tend to stick to the same 3 or 4 - whatever is on offer at the time, but decided to try this for a change and very pleasantly surprised. Lovely to drink alone or with a meal, and comparable in taste to The Reach, although I think this is even nicer! We have already ordered more.

This wine never lets us down. Big on flavour but not as refined as some but goes well with food requiring a big taste. We have bought this wine many times and will continue to do so.

Not what I expected. More a Chardonnay than a Sauvignon . This wine does not have the sharp citrus flavours of good Marlborough Sauvignon such as Oyster Bay or Villa Maria. Very disappointing!

This wine is delightful, it's crisp and dry with a great taste and delightful to drink either on its own or with food. Great value while it is on special offer.

My favourite Sauvignon Blanc by far, very smooth and fruity. Have recommended to friends and would recommend again.

I have tasted many wines from the Marlborough region of New Zealand and I can honestly say that this Sauvignon Blanc is by far the best. I have recommended it to many of my friends.

We have tried quite a few varieties of Sauvignon Blanc. Marlborough is our preference, and Old Renwick Road is absolutely our favourite. In our opinion it is certainly worth the full price of £15, but it tastes even better when it is on offer at half price!! We would not hesitate to recommend this wine to others.

A proper, honest to God Marlborough Sauvignon . Full of fruit, light on the palate and refreshingly zingy. For my personal taste, I prefer this wine very cold because, curiously when served almost icy cold, it loses none of of its sharpness and freshness. I will be buying this one again and can thoroughly recommend it.

This wine is clean and fresh with crisp flavours. I've found it goes really well with seafood. I've ordered this wine twice now and both times it was excellent quality and value for money.

This wine is full of fruit flavours which are well balanced. Drinks better with food rather than on its own.possibly because of its high alchol %. When purchased under "special offer pricing 50%" represents excellent value., I wWould not pay full ticket price .

I was disappointed with this wine because it was less flavoursome than most NZ SBs. I have had a wide variety of NZ SBs from Tesco and felt that this compared poorly , including on price. For example, Villa Maria has always been excellent in quality, flavour and special offer price.

this sauvignon is light, bright and sunny. it doesn't have the have the depth of some others in its price range but it is very drinkable. i'd say perfect on a sunny afternoon with friends because it goes well with BBQ food - enjoy!
