Winemaking at our place has been a tradition since 1847 when Johann Gramp planted his first vineyard on the banks of Jacob's Creek.

A cool and wet winter was observed across the greater Barossa region,which provided optimum soil moisture profiles in the vineyards. However, an unseasonably wet summer ripening period presented many challenges to grape growers. Rigorous vineyard practices and ample hard work were rewarded with fruit quality that was exceptional, especially given the tough conditions.
