Piesporter Michelsberg is a sub-region of the Mosel surrounding the village of Piesport.
Peter Griebeler
The Mosel region is famous for its steep slate slopes above the winding Mosel River. The wines are known for their consistency, and have a delicate mineral character with dry, topical fruit flavours.

This wine is suitable for non-wine drinkers It is thin and limp - no body, weak flavour but it is not unpalatable. I have offered it to several elderly ladies and other females who claim to be non- drinkers, they generally accept another glass. Try it on your Grandma. I would not buy it again though. It is however suitable for marinading pork or making weak punch. and might well have further uses in the kitchen..

Off-dry but not too sweet - just right to drink as a well-chilled aperitif

Very Pleasant wine for the price. Would buy again. I also Like some other of your wines and do change them around from time to time

Get what you pay for. Bland wine for relaxed any time drinking. Not particularly ideal with any specific food other that desserts.

This used to be a pleasant easy drinking and inexpensive white. Some bottles still are, but it seems a lottery as to whether you get a good or watery tastless bottle.

Piesporter has always been first on my list of wine for any occasion and friends who taste almost always ask for the name of the wine - it has a smooth and satisfying flavour and the bottle always empties quickly, which is why I always buy by the case. Try it. Many years ago I worked at a restaurant where this was the most popular wine by far, and understandable why.

I found this wine very palatable for a light evening drink which when tried by others found it light and fruity medium sweet wine ideal for party wine as young people enjoy the sweet taste.I will by this case again
