History
The Wine Group is one of the largest wine producers in the US, The Wine Group (TWG) offers bargain and premium wines, both bottled and boxed. Once part of The Coca-Cola Company, The Wine Group grew from a partnership put together in 1981 to buy Franzia Bros. The group bought the Concannon Vineyard and the Glen Ellen, Italian Casarsa, MG Vallejo and Morassutti brands in 2002. In 2004, The Wine Group purchased Golden State Vintners, bolstering processing capacity.
