Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
The nose is generous and elegant, with initial aromas of fresh red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry) leading to biscuity notes of dried fruits and Viennese pastries (almonds, apricots and brioche).

As this sparkling white wine began to assert itself, the House was already producing a sparkling rosé wine. Archives reveal the date of the first sale of pink champagne wine, in a shipping book which lists bottle shipments by date. The book is preserved in the Pavillon du Patrimoine, it provides evidence of the advance Veuve Clicquot had in the creation & sale of this kind of champagne. In 1775, 3 years after its creation, Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin shipped the first bottles of rosé champagne wine.
Veuve Clicquot vineyards cover 382 hectares spread over the best crus in the region. The vines are mostly planted on hillsides to benefit from the thin layer of top soil and increased sun exposure.
