Isla Negra Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon

A huge big fat full smooth wine, totally loved it.

We have had this wine before and will certainly buy it again.

I have bought this wine on several occasions, when on special offer, and have been very pleased with its quality each time. It has a very pleasant taste that enables it to accompany a variety of meals or to be drunk on its own. A good buy at half price, but not sure it is good enough to justify a full retail price of £10 a bottle.

Fab for drinking with the neighbours with or without food. Excellent price too!

We bought this as a trial, would definately recommend very tasty and enjoyable wine.

A nice balanced wine that goes with just about anything and ok on it's own. Great value everyday wine.

We had this wine with steak, goes well with meat although I am not a snob on food and wine. Would go well with anything. I prefer a good red wine and this certainly fits the bill.

A fruity wine equally as good on it's own as with a meal. Excellent value, especially at the 1/2 price offer.

We have been ordering this wine when its on offer from tesco for the past couple of years. Our guests always enjoy it and we find it great with meals but also as a stand alone glass of wine in the evening. Not top drawer but excellent for the price with its consistent quality. Flavour is smooth fruity and a bit too drinkable as the botttle empties all too quickly!

for the price it is an easy but lovely wine from chile which everybody loves & goes with most foods.we have been drinking this for a long while as an everyday wine.thankyou tesco for supplying it.

Excellent wine. Have had it before so knew it was nice . Even better at half price .

The flavour of this wine is well rounded. Good with all types of meat dishes & pasta. Also ok on its own.

Nice Well Balanced, deep, full flavoured red wine. Excellent on its own or with a meal Goes extremely well with red meats and pasta. Smooth, with no aftertaste. You can't go wrong with this. Buy it when it is on offer!

This wine is classy and easy to drink. It appears much more than it is, and is excellent value at the moment. When they say a wine has a lovely full nose this is it - delicious berry scents coupled with a lovey deep, smooth taste. If you don't like a wine heavy with tannin, this the wine for you.

Wine of exceptional quality and consistent flavour. Full of rich summer fruits which can be enjoyed as a quaffing wine or with all types of meat pizza and cheese. Easily comparable with other New World wines costing twice the price ,this is my favourite ,affordable evening drink.

I regularly purchase this cab sauv. Its quality never varies and the price always competitive. Full of flavour, smooth and a fine accompaniment to any red meat or savoury dish.

A fantastic wine which is consistently good. Good flavour with a pleasant after-taste. Easy drinking to accompany most meals.

Everyone seems to think this is great, so I feel a bit of a heel for saying that I found it to be a bit light weight. I love wine form Chile and would always look for Chilean and Argentinian wine first when selecting wine. I have and this a couple of times in the past and been disappointed compared to other great Tesco budget wines. Las Familas, Garland, etc. sorry guys!

Full bodied flavoursome wine at an exceptional price

Lovely-well bodied but not heavy, easy-drinking on a snowed in night-matched very well with a slow cooked hearty stew Could do with having a 'special offer'

The negra sauvignon is a good "any occasion" wine. Before, during or after dinner, it still tastes nice.

This wine never disappoints. I've enjoyed every bottle and wondered at their capacity to keep the quality so consistant. Unusually, I can drink this one on its own and whenever, altho' I don't, habitually!! It's round, fruity and delicate - lovely.

I have been drinking this wine for about 2 years now. It is excellent value and smooth though robust enough to accompany any meat dish.

My favourite red wine is Cab Sav and this particular one is always one I choose when it is on special offer. At 12.5% strength it is just right for me. It is smooth and so pleasant to drink with a lovely meal or just cheese - who would complain about that? I have rated this wine highly as compared to more expensive and well known wines this one compares extremely favourably.

This wine is a very good all rounder and lived up to to the description. Not too heavy and went well with the beef dish i served. Excellent value for what i paid for it on offer from Tesco. I am not sure if i would pay the full amount but then i never do but overall it was excellent .

I recently bought a box of Isla Negra Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon and enjoyed it so much that I just had to buy another for over the festive holiday. Now has to be up with my other favourite wines.

l found this wine to be a full bodied fruity but peppery taste and a excellent choice to accompany a spaghetti Bolognese.

Beautifully smooth with a buttery texture, leaving a wonderful full taste of berries in the mouth. I cannot recommend this wine enough, it is one of my absolute favourites and I drink alot of Cabernet Sauvignon. A great, delightful wine. Buy some and enjoy!

For the price, very drinkable but nothing special. Try the Merlot, much better.

This is a "reserva" wine i.e. better quality than their orinary wine. I highly recommend it. It is full of flavour and fantastic value for money and I will certainly buy again.

At full price, I wouldn't go near, but on offer for the typical prices of the cheaper wines, this is nicely drinkable. Personally I rarely find any difference in taste between sub £7 wines, so why bother.

isla negra always produce reliable wines and this is packed with fruit. A bargain at that price

A superb Cabernet Sauvignon full of rich plum and raspberry flavours. This wine is good to mix with lemonade or to drink purely as a wine with food. An excellent case purchase from Tesco.

Having consumer many bottles of this Isla Negra over the last year my husband and I still really enjoy it. Not heavy at all, very fruity and easy to drink. Great value when its on half price offer too!

I always know that Isla Negra wine will be good. This reserva is better than that! Lovely fruit, balanced acidity, little tannin. Thoroughly enjoyable!

I believe that we all have different opinions on wines because of our diverse tastes, personally this wine is very palatable and enjoyable.

I dont like my reds too heavy and spicy and full of tannine, so this is an easy light drinkable red which is frequently on offer at under £4.00 Cant go wrong for that price, I'd pay up to £5 for it
