A vibrant dry white wine with gooseberry aromas on the nose and a crisp palate of tropical and grapefruit flavours.

To enjoy this wine at its best, drink within 1 year of purchase.
The winery is one of the most modern in Chile & also the first winery in Chile with a certification to offset its CO² emissions. Tapiwey means 'parliament place' & refers to the name given to where the Spanish made peace with the Mapuches Indians.

The Casablanca Valley enjoys a coastal influence that moderates temperatures during the ripening period making it one of the premier regions for white wine production in Chile.

This is a dreary wine - little or no fragrance (despite promise of gooseberry) and a watery taste. It was very disappointing and I shall not be buying it again.

This is a jolly good example of distinctive flavour achieved from balanced and proven Terroir. The Tapiwey vineyard, in Chile's Casablance Valley, is righly known as the real location for the production of Sauvignon Blanc. This wine has textbook qualities of flavour and body: marvellously refreshing and is a delight with fish, white meat or as an aperitif.

The French say about white wine "if in doubt - the Sancerre". I like the NZ Marlboroughs but sometimes I want something more subtle and a little steely, like a Sancerre. When this is £6 a bottle it is one of the best deals around. Very good as an aperitif and excellent with seafood, even get away with Thai food but would prefer a dry Riesling for that.

A reasonable everyday glugger. Not as rich in flavour or auroma as New Zealand Sauvignons. A nice summers day wine.

When this wine is reduced to £6 its definitely worth getting some in. Chilled it makes a very pleasant aperitif or accompaniment to oilier fish or chicken. At full price I'm not sure I would see such an attraction.

Sauvignon Blanc is one of my favourite wines - Tapiwey Vineyard Sauvignon is at the top of my list. I brought this wine to a small Christmas gathering where I work and the people who it drank all commented how good it was.

classic NZ mouthful - very dry, zingy, a good summer wine and good with summery foods too - like many Tesco Finest, value for money. A lot of this style of white around now, so not always easy to find the really quaffable ones when so many fall into the same price range, but I would rate this onel

I have been buying this wine on a regular basis for the last 2 or 3 years and it has delivered consistent quality. My brother chose it for his wedding reception and all the guests were very happy with it. Anybody who enjoys New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc show certainly consider trying this as a good general drinking wine.

It gets a whole lot of praise and endorsements this wine from other reviewers, but I wonder how many would have bought it in the first instance at the full price of £8.99? More importantly will people continue to buy it unless it is discounted, that’s the test. Is it THAT good at any price? It’s very good with fishy food that’s for sure, the acidity balancing those food flavours. And what I hadn’t drunk with the meal I finished off. But it needs to be kept well chilled for me and a few black olive nibbles help it along. If its regular price was £5 a bottle, (and I paid £6 on offer!), I’d be happy to choose it as a reliable and representative bottle of sauvignon blanc that would never cause offence.

Great flavour, especially when chilled, and if you like sauvignons from the Marlborough region you will like this wine at a fraction of the price, we will be stocking up again soon!

Tapiwey is one of our favourite Sauvignon Blancs which can be drunk on its own or especially with seafood. It is also good value particularly when on offer or more so on voucher redemption.

A very fruity smooth wine with loads of pleasant crisp flavour. I am far from an expert on wine but do know what I like and this wine hits the spot for me.

Only bought this wine to use up the tesco finest double up vouchers. The wine was good - not sure that I would buy it again in front of a good New Zealand Sauvignon Blance which would be on half price offer

Very easy to drink Cab Sav. Smooth on the palate and a pleasant, lingering after taste. Would order again but this should not be compared too closely to the better NZ Cab Savs.

This wine has a beautiful crisp body with the hint of gooseberry and lovely fruity fragrances. It is delighful served really chilled and goes with all meat, or just as a drink on it's own! Actually, it goes down rather too easily :-)

This wine is as good as most New Zealand Sauvignons - which is praise indeed. It has a full flavour but all the freshness one look for. It is well matched to most foods but is a delightful glass on its own. It is always consitently reliable. It is good value and a real find by Tesco.

My wifes number one grape is Sauvignon Blanc and this Finest Tapiwey is her favourite by a mile. I have just bought four cases as part of her Christmas present. Every time I open a bottle and ask if its ok she just replies fantastic. She says that it tastes just like it says a vibrant dry ( but not too dry) wine with gooseberry aromas and a crisp palate of tropical and grapefruit flavours.

We love very dry Sauvignon blanc, but find that all too often the acidity overpowers the taste. This wine has excellent flavour and is also great value for money.
