A beguiling, bright and attractive wine where the bracing lemonsherbert acid framework is fleshed out with layers of pristine floral, citrus and mineral flavours.

Expert comment: "Mount Horrocks Riesling is clearly tapping a rare vein. Exquisite purity. Textbook length. Lime and bath salts and the odd spicy, floral edge. Line, and drive, to burn. If you like Watervale Riesling you will like this. 93 Points THE WINE FRONT 2009 Campbell Mattinson" Mount Horrocks Wines is operated by proprietor/winemaker Stephanie Toole, who restricts production to approximately 4,500 cases per annum in order to achieve her aims of quality and single vineyard expression. Stephanie describes her wines as essentially hand made food wines with an emphasis on structure as well as generous fruit flavours. All grapes are 100% estate grown from three separate vineyard sites totalling nearly 10 hectares in the Clare Valley.
