History
Catena Zapata is a family winery with 100 years of experience in the wine industry in Mendoza. In the 1980`s Nicolas Catena changed the history of Argentine wine when he dared to believe that a wine could be made in Mendoza that would stand with the best of the world.

This review is for the 2011 vintage
A lovely wine, stumbled on it by accident. Cannot drink red wine any more. Found Malbec better than an ordinary rose and not as heavy as a full bodied red wine. It goes so well with every meal and especially cheese and biscuits. So please do not take off the wine list
