Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
A bright beauty of a wine, made from Tempranillo grapes grown on small bush vines in the Navarra region of Spain.
Full of dark plum and blackcurrent fruit flavours, this is a joyous juicy red that packs a real punch.
One for sausages and mash, or spicy tomato pasta dishes.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 3 years
Matthew Jukes - Weekend, Daily Mail 30/05/2014
Of the 2012 vintage, Matthew Jukes said: "There's a superb vanilla and strawberry nose on this punchy Tempranillo, the palate is long and lithe and it's not too oaky or harsh on the finish. You should head towards this wine if you like Rioja but don't really want to spend a tenner."
Bodegas Aragonesas was founded in 1984 and actually has an average production of 18 million litres which accounts for 55% of the total production of the D.O. Campo de Borja. Their main grape varieties are Garnacha from over 50 years old vines and Tempranillo. Bodegas Aragonesas has achieved the introduction of these wines on the international market and actually our wines are distributed in thirty-six countries.
The grapes are harvested from 400 ha of vineyards in the Campo de Borja Region in Spain. The soil is made up of clay-calcareous and a true Mediterranean climate is present.
