A soft, rich and creamy Chardonnay with crisp acidity and a honeyed finish.

To enjoy this wine at its best, drink within 2 years of purchase.
Although a map will provide the exact seashore location as a little south of Santiago, the place (where legend has it) that inspiration resides 'Isla Negra', had to go inland to touch base with the arts of vineyard-farming and winemaking of Cono Sur.
Adolfo Hurtado
The wine benefits from the ideal growing conditions to be found in the Central Valley, Chile. Foggy mornings and Pacific ocean breezes give the grapes extra time to ripen and realise their full potential.

What spoils many New World wines is that they are overcooked and end up like butter. This chardonnay is about right with that minerally tang settlrd upon a rich base. Perfect when reading the paper in that deckchair.

This wine is one of the best chardonnay wines I have tasted. I am not too fond of Chardonnay to be honest, but can quite happily drink it with my friends , and they think it is fantastic.

This Chardonnay from Chile is good with fish and sea food in general. We have bought it before and have not been disappointed and would buy again. If you like the Charonnay grape this represents good value at £5 a bottle.

I know many people dislike the oakiness of, say, white burgundies or the chardonnays vinified in past years. However I am not one of them. Whilst I love the grape and am generally pleased with this wine, I wish there were some oak. I find this goes very well with trout.

Although we have previously enjoyed this wine, the 2012 vintage seems to be more acidic and less rounded than the 2011 vintage.

A lovely crisp and medium white wine. Ideal to accompany fish dishes but can equally well be drunk on its own or with cheese and biscuits,

A value Chardonnay, not oaked but with a traditional taste like Chardonnay used to be. Excellent value at £5-£6 a bottle for everyday drinking. Serve chilled.

Tastes cheap and tacky. I know it is cheap but it shouldn't be tacky! The wife just ended up adding it to some dessert sauces.

Superb wine with either meat or fish and prepares your mouth for the next fork full of food. Its rounded and well balanced flavours makes it inevitable that a second bottle will be opened. Its a pity we cannot get on the National Health.

This is a lovely smooth Chardonnay, which is good to have on standby. You wouldn't be embarrassed if your friends popped round and you gave them a glass of this wine.

We ordered Isla Negra Reserve as it is a wine we enjoy and getting by the case proved to be excellent value for money. Delivery was quick and efficient. Isla Nigra is an excellent wine and very relaxing over dinner.

I don't usually like most of the Chardonnays out there but this was a very pleasant surprise. It's lighter than most and not too oakey. In scale it's up from pinto Grigio and Sav/Blanc. Well worth sampling.

Seeing my favourite wine at a fantastic price, it was a must to order. Well chilled,it is soooo smooth, creamy & fruity, it sends me into raptures of delight. Drinkable alone as well as with food. The 6 bottle box was for the christmas festivities, but alas, I will have to order more!!

I have gone off chardonnay wines in recent years because the oak has been overdone leading to rather dull andflabby wines. This wine is different and how I believe chardonnay should taste because it has a bite of acidity and a refreshing appley taste. I will continue to make regular purchases of this wine because it represents very good value for money.

Sold at a deep discount of 50%, this is an excellent-value, everyday-drinking chardonnay but I wouldn't recommend it at the full price.

A pleasant white with good, full flavour. At about the right price when on offer, otherwise, too expensive for what it is at full price. The red is also very good.
