One of the noblest of the Alsace grapes, Pinot Gris produces a full, heady, rich and lush wine.
Technically dry, but the style is so fruity and full, with such a long palate that the illusion of sweetness is maintained.
Its great depth is balanced by a crisp acidity that gives structure and longevity
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 1 year
Unquestionably one of the greatest names in Alsace, the Trimbach family, based in the picturesque town of Ribeauvillé, has been involved in making wine since 1626 and has, over 13 generations, built an enviable reputation for the quality of its entire range.
The vineyards of Trimback snuggle in the shelter of the Vosges Mountains in eastern France. Wine produced from these vines benefit from the unique microclimate and protection from the mountains, which preserves the plain from the rain.
