Susy Atkins - Stella, Sunday Telegraph 31/08/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Susy Atkins said: "A Tesco best buy is its award-winning finest* Cotes Catalanes Carignan 2013: substantial, savoury, black-peppered."
David Williams - Observer Food Monthly 16/11/2014
"Roussillon is where France meets Spain, in the shadow of the Pyrenees, and the wines here have much in common with the warmth and generosity of their peers south of the border. This is one of the best sub-£7 reds on the high street. Tesco's own label mines the area's rich resource of old vines for a satisfyingly savoury, earthy but juicy red full of woody herbs and dark fruit."
Situated in the far South of France around some of the Cotes du Roussillon Villages, Baixas and La Tour de France, found to the west of Perpignan.
