Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
Made by the unstoppable Chester Osborn of top Australian producer d'Arenburg fame, this is a wine with attitude.
A terrific blend of Shiraz, Grenache and even a dash of Mourvedre, it's brimming with black cherry and damson fruit flavours.
One for a topside of beef.
This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 2 years
Andrew Neather - Evening Standard 19/04/2012
Of the 2010 vintage, Andrew Neather said: "Concentrated, plummy, fruit balanced with good acidity and tannins."
Since 1912 the Osborn family have grown grapes and made wine in the picturesque surrounds of McLaren Vale. Today fourth generation family member Chester Osborn is at the winemaking helm, making distinctive wines using traditional methods in the winery and the vineyard.
Normally characterised by warm and dry springs. This vintage had perfectly timed rains which meant overall there was generally low humidity and considerably warmer than normal. Autumn harvest period was characterised by protracted dry conditions best described as the warm side of perfect.
