Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
An inspired blend of Montepulciano grapes from Abruzzo, Primitivo from Puglia (some of which have been partially dried, adding a raisiny character to the wine), Nero d’Avola from Sicily and Merlot from the cooler Veneto region.
The result is rich and warm with dark cherry and fig flavours.
Team with meaty pasta dishes.
This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 1 year

“Cinema grub is generally on the meaty light side, from popcorn to nachos and hot dogs. But if you’re going gourmet with a range of flavours, try Piccini Memoro NV from Tesco....., which is blended from red grapes from all corners of Italy. Rich, fruity and fun to pair with the latest blockbuster or a timeless classic.”
Wine flows through the historical veins of every corner of Italy. Our family has been part of the Italian wine history for IV generations, since 1882. With our roots deep into the territory of Tuscany, it is the very first time when we take up the challenge to create a wine that would not only taste Italian, but feel Italian. This is why I consider that Memŏro is uncharted territory for us, an idea reflected by the rose compass on the label: an Italian cuvee wine born from 4 corners of Italy.
We chose a compass for our label to represent “Italy in a bottle” - combining four different grape varietals, each offering the typical expression of a distinct Italian region: Veneto, Abruzzo, Puglia and Sicily.
