Made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape in the Loire Valley in France, this is just about as crisp and fresh as a white wine is going to get! Really lively, with zippy lemon fruit, this sits brilliantly with a plate piled with asparagus or seafood.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 2 years
Matthew Jukes - Weekend, Daily Mail 07/06/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Matthew Jukes said: "Muscadet is one of France's cheapest and most underrated styles of wine. It's true, some are a little dull but this version is not - it's bright, citrusy, floral, mouth-watering and bone dry, and delicious with any seafood."
Le Pallet is a famous village known for the tragic love affair of Abelard and Heloise. Ten winegrowers from Le Pallet decided to join forces to make their own revolution. They are stronger together than the most hardy of the group. Also Le Pallet has been recently classified as “Cru de Muscadet“ due to the exceptional quality of the soil.
