Founded in 1932, the Pomerols cooperative winery strives to expand, improve and modernize, with the goal of producing fine quality wines reflecting the typicity of their origin. Pomerols cellar groups together the winegrowing areas of Pomerols, Castelnau de guers and Mèze. Presently it vinifies 117,000 hl, of which 18,000 hl is of AOC Picpoul de Pinet and 60,000 hl of varietals. The cellar yields a turnover of 12 millions euros and employs 20 people.

The picpoul grapes were grown in the vineyards surrounding the village of Pinet in the stunning Languedoc region of Southern France. A wine enjoyed in seafood restaurants along the Mediterranean coast.
