Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
A cracking red wine from the Beaujolais Villages region, in France.
Made from the Gamay grape, it is medium-bodied, with bright raspberry and blackcurrant fruit.
There is nothing nouveau about this wine; it is a great glass of wine.
Works a treat with roast pork, too.

Fiona Beckett - The Guardian Magazine 26/04/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Fiona Beckett said: “…good, own-brand bojo, would benefit from being served lightly chilled.”
Tim Atkin MW - Woman & Home 14/06/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Tim Atkin said: “An example of Gamay at its gluggable best: juicy, perfumed and bursting with flavours of raspberry, red cherry and strawberry. Supple and textures, this tastes even better if you serve it from the fridge or an ice bucket. Try it with cold cuts, salads or grilled salmon.”
Victoria Moore - Weekend, Daily Telegraph 28/06/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Victoria Moore said: "Perky, tweaky, upbeat – all the bright redcurrant and sour cherry flavours you could hope for in a simple beaujolais. Chill it for half an hour, chuck it in a carafe and turn the kitchen into a French bistro for the night."
Jamie Goode - S Magazine, Sunday Express 13/07/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Jamie Goode said: "If you must have a red wine with salads, then go for a lighter, fresher option, such as this very drinkable Beaujolais. With its bright-red cherry fruit, it would work well with a duck salad."
Hamish Anderson - Daily Telegraph Magazine 19/07/2014
Of the 2013 vintage, Hamish Anderson said: “2013 is generally a poor vintage throughout Europe, low on quality and volume. As ever there are exceptions and Beaujolais seems to be one of them. This is a fantastically bright, lightweight, moreish wine with fresh loganberries and a typical twist of spice – serve cool rather than fridge cold.”
