The beauty of Muscadet is that not only is this Loire classic deliciously fresh in flavour, it is also no more than 12%
Crisp and bright, with green apple and citrus flavours, this simply must be put with seafood for best results.

Jamie Goode - S Magazine, Sunday Express 24/03/2013
"This is a really appealing and affordable example of Muscadet. It has simple pure fruit with a smoky, mineral character. This is a versatile, tasty dry white and comes with a bargain price tag. Try it and see."
Victoria Moore - Telegraph Weekend 25/05/2013
"There is one tricky thing about recommending non-vintage wines - which are usually perked up with the fresh vintage towards the end of its lifespan - and that is that it's impossible for you to tell whether you've picked up the right bottle. Still, this particular NV looked fantastic at the Tesco tasting, and tasted far better than Tesco's more expensive Finest Muscadet Sur Lie. A simple wine, but a good one."
The tradition of viticulture in the Nantes region of Muscadet, started from the Roman emperor Probus whose soldiers planted the first vines in the territory. Viticulture developed there during the Middle Ages under the impetus of the monks of the abbeys of Country Nantes.
Originally cultivated by Romans, these vineyards have long been celebrated for producing high quality wine. The grapes are grown in Nantais, where the clay soils are rich in minerals.
