Portugal is home to hundreds of grape varieties, including the ones used to make this deliciously crisp white.
A blend of Loureiro and Trajadura grapes, this is light, crisp and positively tingling with lemon and lime fruit flavours.
Very happy when teamed with a plate of seafood.
This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 1 year

Reconsider Vinho Verde with this modern version, an almost dry, rather Spring-like white. It's fragrant and fresh with apricot flavours and a dab of vanilla. Pair with oily fish, such as sardines, for a super-healthy feast.
João Portugal Ramos is strongly linked to Portuguese wines: first as a consultant oenologist, and since 1992, as a producer. After striking success in the Alentejo, João extended to other regions and today the company produces wines in all of the Portuguese most important wine regions including the Vinho Verde region which is renowned for spectacular white wines.
Vinho Verde is located on the cool north west coast of Portugal and has a very gentle climate perfect for growing vines. White grape varieties especially thrive here due to the cooling influence of the atlantic sea, and the result is wine with natural high acidity and freshness.
