Background

History

160 years ago, one young man had a vision….' To create wines that would be prized in all markets of the world.' That vision would become reality. That man would become a legend. His name was Thomas Hardy. Five generations on, the Hardy family continues to nurture that vision and share with the world an array of award-winning wines that proudly carry the Hardy name.

Regional info

An excellent year for red wines, with a long growing season consisting of warm mild days. Our spread of vineyards across the Langhorne Creek, McLaren Vale and Riverland areas enjoyed this weather helping to produce grapes which showed dense colour, flavours, and fine soft tannins. The resultant wine is a mirror image of the fruit with a vibrant core of colour, sweet flavours and long flavoursome palate.
