Piccini's story began in 1882 with Angiolo Piccini, who owned the vineyards in the Chianti area. Even today, Piccini is still 100% family owned by Mario and Martina Piccini who mark the 4th generation of the family. Piccini is one of the biggest player in Tuscany.
We chose a compass rose for our label to send an invitation to experience in one bottle four different grape varietals, each typical expression of a distinct Italian region: Sicily, Trentino, Maremma Toscana and Marche. What could be more appropriate for the new Vino d’Italia classification? Memŏro was an interesting challenge for Piccini: to create a wine that would not only taste unmistakably Italian, but would feel Italian.
