South African Wines

A wine producer of considerable pedigree and history, its wines were famous in Euopean courts in the 18th Century. French varietals dominate here but also increasingly their own variety, Pinotage. Whilst the Bordeaux blends are very good, the sauvignon blancs and syrahs are amongst the best in the world.
