Shiraz

Originally called Syrah from the Rhone Valley in France, it has achieved much fame in Australia. This is the grape variety behind Hermitage and Cote Rotie in France and also Australias' most iconic wine, Penfolds Grange. It is often blended with Cabernet in Australia and produces full bodied, spicy wines.
