What is Fairtrade?

What is Fairhills?

FAIRHILLS

Global Fairhills has set the trend for the implementation of one of the most successful Fairtrade certified initiatives (combining environmental, production, quality and most important human factors) in the world and is set to become the most well-known wine brand in the world to carry the FAIRTRADE Mark within the next 2 years; it has already pushed for the top spot in the United Kingdom with regards to sales and consumer perception.

The Fairhills brand is not only about the wine - through Fairtrade certification, the producers receive a fair price for their grapes, and workers and their families benefit from the Fairtrade premium which is used for community development projects. Fairhills sets itself on harmonizing the relationship between employer and employee and production practices with environmental regulations.

We chose Fairhills as our major Fairtrade wine partner because they have proven themselves to be fully committed to the Fairtrade ethos; investing in the long term future of their growers whilst providing and maintaining a high quality product. Their involvement in South Africa and Argentina has allowed us to offer a range of wines, giving a breadth of styles and varieties for our customers to choose from.
