A soft, warming red with flavours of raspberry, black cherry and just a hint of spice.

This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 1 year
This delicious Australian Pinot Noir is an example of the classic French grape at its best. This wine takes its name from the Overland Telegraph Stations built in 1872 between Port August in the south and Darwin in the north, which connected Australia with the rest of the world.
Brett Duffin
The grapes for this wine were grown in the warm, sunny vineyards of South Eastern Australia's Riverland region.

At full price there are far superior Pinot Noirs to be had, but on offer at £5.49 this is a no brainer. Very soft and easy (too easy!), lightly fruity, eminently quaffable. Goes with pretty much anything. Grown-up Ribena for sure.

This wine never varies, always good quality. At RRP it may be a little expensive but when on offer at £5 a bottle it is excellent value. Keep on your list please !

A very smooth, fruity wine which can be drunk with anything - even mince pies! I've been buying this wine from you for over 2 years now, and the quality remains constantly excellent

A restauranteur friend once said to me there's no good cheap Burgundy to be had any more...so we better move on to Pinot Noir made elsewhere to find some value! I love Pinot when it's elegant and light and though there's nothing badly wrong with this bottle it just doesn't blow my socks off and I really wanted it to. Maybe it's too young yet but I wouldn't have thought that laying it down for a year or two was going to make a big difference. When an expert says it's a 'cracking example' I question my judgement here. But if I'd paid full price it would have only been worth two stars... not my three!

This wine has hints of cherry, plum & raspberry with a subtle spiciness together with a smoothness that does not often come with such a well priced wine.

Telegraph Station Shiraz is very good value for money. it is smooth and an 'easy' drink. Will go with most foods as it's not too heavy but has enough body to give a mellow flavour. Nice summery taste.

A nice bottle of wine but a bit too dark and acidic for my taste normally and that associated with a Pinot Noir. As they say, you pay for what you get and its true here. However as a glass of some thing after work, you can't go wrong.

I have to admit I'm not normally a great fan of Australian wine but I thought I'd give this wine a go as it looks pretty good value. What a very pleasant surprise I had finding this wine Well made and excellent QPR for a pinot noir. It became my house red for a while.

Sold at a discount, this wine represented reasonable value for money being a typical example of pinot noir. It was disappointingly short on the palate so I wouldn't recommend it when not discounted.

Disappointing - nothing even similar to the real thing from Burgundy.

My other cases of wine i have been delighted with unfortunately this Pinot Noir did dissapoint me. I found it slightly thin and lacking in taste usually associated with a Pinot. I certainly wouldn't choose this Telegraph Station again.

My wife and I are always looking for a good tasting, affordable Pinot and the Telegraph Station Pinot Noir, hit the spot on both fronts. Enough body to have with roast meats, yet light enough to enjoy on its own as well. Suitably vaccuum stopped it can be enjoyed over two nights. Good enough to bring as a a bottle to a dinner party, (which we did) with no fear of embarrassment. It's a winner .

I must admit I was a little suspicious of the South East Australian provenance for a Pinot Noir as I like the French wines so much, but this one was a real surprise. Opened a few hours earlier and aerated certainly improves it (as you would expect). Great wine and real value for money.
