From the makers of the fabulous Post Sauvignon Blanc, this superb Chardonnay is elegant, unoaked and beautifully balanced, with notes of peach and tropical fruit.

To enjoy this wine at its best, drink within 1 year of purchase.
Gisborne in the region of Poverty Bay, it was here that Captain James Cook first set foot on New Zealand soil. He encountered strong resistance from local Maori, so left hastily to re-land at Bay of Plenty!

Gisborne is the first grape growing region in the world to see the sunrise each morning. it is rightly known as the Chardonnay capital of New Zealand.

This is a good Chardonnay, but try the Post Sauvignon Blanc, which is excellent for the price

This was good value and made for easy drinking. At the price I got it I would certainly buy it again.

Got this because it was quite exceptionally good last year; so was a little disappointed as it is not as great although still a very pleasant wine. Last year it was full of flavour - definite hints of gooseberry and elder flower but just not so flavoursome this year.

Slightly darker colour for an unoaked chardonnay, and the label doesn't appeal (I know I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover). Can't fault it at the price. An unremarkable quaffing wine - not a criticism

We enjoyed this wine but recognise that not all chardonnay drinkers will be as impressed. It is not a typical chardonay but is a very subtle wine.

Actually very good and flavoursome wine. Did not expect too much for the price as was on special offer and was pleasantly surprised. Recommended.

The taste and colour indicated that the wine was approaching the end of its useful life. Not a great taste as the wine was past its best.

Easy drinking, fresh on the palate, not too dry - a classic from New Zealand.
