The Barossa Valley, Australia’s premium wine area, produces some of the finest Shiraz, and Barossa Drive is a superb example.
Made with fruit selected from the region’s best vineyards, it is velvety smooth with a warm, spicy character.
A good match for a hot curry.

The Dominic family has been involved in the wine industry for some 90 years now, beginning with our family vineyards in country Croatia before our move to Australia in 1956. With substantial vineyards established in South Australia’s wine growing regions.

Having spent holidays in the Barossa region of Australia, and sampled many of their delicious wines, I found this one very disappointing. Definately not up to their usual standard - perhaps it doesn't travel well ? The flavour on the tongue wasn't what I expected, though the aftertaste was long.

This is a god wine worthy of its price, I tried it on its own and it went down very well

. . . lasts 'til the last drop. Just think what the wines are like that they keep in the valley.

This wine is fantastic value. It has typical South Austtralian full flavours for a Shiraz at twice the price . I have bought before and will buy again.

A very easy drinking wine. Pretty smooth. Maybe not as much punch as some shiraz's but certainly good enough at the reduced price paid.

Very good wine showing classic Aussie full ripeness with great nose. Still young and is improved by resting for two to three weeks after delivery. Also open it for hour or two before imbibing or use one of the breathing gadgets, opens up the nose and flavour markedly. Have bought before and will again for sure.

After trying countless Shiraz offerings from all over, I have a few favourites now and this is in the top three. The weight, fruit and tannin are well-balanced and it is a stalwart 'winter warmer' in our home. Excellent with roast dinners, grills and casseroles and perfectly drinkable without food, I'm pleased to say. I think you will be too.

Full of flavour Shiraz that provides the drinker with a good example of what a well priced Shiraz can taste like. Big on flavour, take some time to let it breath and reach room temp, it's worth the wait

Sounded great. All the right things said, but pretty average with not much flavour. Ok at the price but not worth the full price

This wine was on offer but dissapointed with the wine. Hint of burnt sugar and lacking the full fruit associated with a new world Shiraz. There are much better Shriraz wines out there.

I was really looking forward to trying this Barossa Valley shiraz which I'd bought at half price. However, I found it far too sickly sweet and fruity in taste compared to other Barossa Valley Shiraz that I've tried. Very disappointed.

This wine is fullof strong flavours that one associates withe high alchol strength wines from the Barossa Valley. For me the tanning came through strong which ment it was far better with food than on its own. Bought while on offer which for me represented very good value.

Discovered this wine by chance, buying a case when it was on offer and we and friends really enjoyed it. Have since bought a further three to get us over the Christmas Entrtainment season! It is luxurious but lighter than some shirazs so easy to drink with no heavy after taste.

Looking at the price details listed by Tesco, I was expecting something in the Penfolds Bin 28 or Wolf Blass Presidents Selection category, but I was disappointed to find something more in line with the 3 for £10.00 type wines. It was okay, but nothing to get excited about. After drinking a bottle I had a glass of Penfolds Koonunga Hill Seventy Six and that was far superior. I think I will keep a few bottles for presents, but I doubt I would reach for this if looking for a quality Aussie Shiraz. In the same order I bought some Tim Adams "The Fegus" for around the same price and that is miles better.

This shiraz has a soft ,rich fruit flavour which rests smoothly on the pallet. Ideal with cheese and meats but equally can be tasted proir to a meal to condition your appetite for another glass with a meal.

Some Shiraz offerings are very thin, but this wine is full-bodied and very dark.

Thoroughly enjoyed the wine it was everything and more than I had expected and when shared with friends, they raved about it. Would most definitely purchase again - think another box for Christmas would just be the ticket!

I found this Shiraz a little heavy. But overall it's a pleasant wine, probably suitable to partner with stronger flavoured meat dishes. I would recommend Sisters Run Shiraz.

This wine is full bodied and goes with many beef and lamb dishes. Mellow and fruity, soft enough to be drunk without food or to accompany cheese and wine as well. I would definately recommend it and would buy it again. I know the latest idea is to offer cold or even chilled red wine but try this opened and warmed for an hour or so and you will never have it any other way.
