This full bodied and well rounded wine has a velvet texture.

This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to 1 year
Rawnsley Estate is part of the award-winning Australian Vintage Ltd portfolio.

The grapes for this wine were sourced from the cooler regions of the state such as Limestone Coast to give the wine a pure fruit character and a freshness of flavour.

were is the chocolate and coffee taste? if it is not possible to make a cheap good tasting red wine then please stop trying. let it be an elitist wine enjoyed by the few at least then i can stop being disappointed by the rubbish they write on the back of these bottles

I often buy this wine, especially when it is on offer, (it usually is) as this makes it good value. For around the £5 to £8 price range it hits the spot, it is has lovely friut and goes well with food and on it's own, maybe with a square of good dark chocolate. If you like reasonably priced aussie reds then this is a thumbs up.

This wine proves that once again Tesco 'find' hidden gems amongst vast wine cellars. This wine is a little on the expensive side but does not disappoint proving a versatile wine to drink with or without food to compliment.

Very nice balanced wine, with good real fruit taste but I bought the wine on special offer and I don't think I would pay the full price for it but nevertheless we really enjoyed it.

Screw top so no unnecessary searching for a corkscrew. A pleasant, easy wine with or without food.

My family and I have greatly enjoyed drinking this wine for several years. We have found it to be of high quality and both smooth and flavoursome. You are recommended to give it a try if you are fond of Aussie wines !

For a South East Australian Cab Merlot this is very disappointing. It has the rudiments of a good wine but it does not gel. It might improve with cellaring but notes on the bottle suggest cellaring for only two years suggesting that it has not been engineered for laying down. It has a nice colour and is good on the nose but the tannins are a little over powering and not in balance with the berry flavours. It is light and unsatisfying on the tongue and has a slightly peppery aftertaste but there's no 'lingering pleasure' in this drop. You could do worse I suppose, but try something else.

Can't add much more than the previous reviewers except to add that this is my favorite red at the moment and tastes great with or without food at any time of the day..

Rawnsley Estates have for a long time been one of my favourite Wineries. I particularly like Merlot grape followed by Cab/ Sav. and then Shiraz in that order. I can always rely on Rawnslet Estate for a good strength wine at a reasonable price for drinking with my evening meal. Hence my review. I would not thank you for wine at £100 or £50 or even £25 a bottle.
