Calling all young cooks of the future

Young Cooks

Do you know a kitchen whizz aged 11-16, who creates delicious, nutritious meals for your family to enjoy? They could become Tesco magazine Young Cook of the Year

Does your child love to cook? Tesco magazine is launching our Young Cook of the Year awards. So if you have the next Marco Pierre White or Nigella Lawson at home, then our new competition is a great opportunity for them to show their love of cooking. Open to 11-16 year olds who can not only cook, but also demonstrate a knowledge of and a passion for healthy family food, the awards are a brilliant chance to demonstrate their skills and culinary expertise.

We want original, delicious and straightforward recipes, containing fruit and vegetables that will contribute towards our

‘five-a-day'. The chosen finalists will be invited to London, all expenses paid, to cook their meal in front of celebrity judges.
