Once again thousands of women across the country
have taken part in this year’s Cancer Research UK’s
Race For Life, which has been supported by Tesco
since 2002.
Nearly 700,000 women, including around 22,000 Tesco
staff, turned out in force at 280 events across the
country. And with more than one in three people
affected by cancer at some point in their lives, the £60
million sponsorship money raised by the participants
will go a long way in helping Cancer Research UK’s
life-saving work.
