Our aim is to make everyone welcome at Tesco and we are working hard to make your shopping experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Our staff are trained to respect and respond to the needs of our customers and to promote "Every Little Helps" at all times. We are pleased to offer assisted shops in our stores and delighted to be sponsoring the Employers Forum on Disability Guide to "Welcoming Disabled Customers".
Our stores are designed to be as wheelchair friendly as possible with wide aisles and checkouts, ramps, automatic doors and wheelchair friendly lifts and travellators. Where we are limited in the changes we can make because of planning restrictions we make every effort to develop individual solutions.
All of our car parks have designated spaces for disabled customers. Our Tesco Extra and Superstores are equipped with standard wheelchairs. Mobility scooters are available in our Tesco Extra stores and some Superstores. Our Customer Service desks and Petrol Filling Stations are fitted with Induction loops for our hearing impaired customers.
Our home shopping service is a convenient and easy way to shop from home, and is available to 95% of the population, visit www.tesco.com for more information.
Tesco is committed to providing you with a website that is accessible to the widest possible audiences. We have developed our website, www.tesco.com, following the guidelines described our Accessibility Statement.
As part of our commitment to making the visitor experience consistent for all we are continually working to improve the accessibility of our websites. In the meantime should you experience any difficulties please contact us explaining the problems you encountered.
We welcome your feedback; please let one of our stores colleagues know if you have any questions or suggestions.
