  • butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • mincemeat
  • vanilla icecream
  • silver balls

Method

  1. Peel, core and slice cooking apples and place in a pan with a knob of butter, 1 tablespoon sugar and 2 tablespoons water. Simmer for 5 minutes until tender. In another pan warm up about half a jar of mincemeat.
  2. Put the apple sauce in shot glasses or small tumblers, then add the mincemeat. Top each glass with a scoop of vanilla icecream and decorate with silver balls, if desired.
