Recipe for Melon, grape, kiwi and ginger smoothie.

Galia melon with its juicy pale green flesh is great in this recipe but you could use any other melon in season. Watermelon would look stunning with its bright red flesh, switch the grapes to red skin.

- 225 g wedge Galia melon, deseeded and peeled.
- 75 g green seedless grapes.
- 1 ripe kiwi friut, peeled.
- 1 ball stem ginger in syrup + tbsp syrup from jar.
- 1 squeeze of lime juice

Method
- Place all the ingredients together in a blender or food processor and whizz until smooth. pour in to a glass and serve with straws.
Cook's tip
If you're not keen on ginger, omit it add a spoonful of honey to sweeten and a sprig or two of mint if you have it to hand
