Ingredients
- 1.5 kg (3lb) lean spareribs
- 200 g (1/3pt) hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 clove clove garlic, crushed
- 5cm (2in) ginger, diced
- 300 g (10oz) noodles
- 375 g (12oz) pak choi
- 4 spring onions, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced

Method
- Mix together the spareribs and hoisin sauce and leave to marinate for 1 hour or more.
- Heat oven to Gas 4, 180ºC, 350ºF. Place the ribs in a large roasting pan, cook for 20 minutes, turn and cook for a further 20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large pan, gently cook the garlic and ginger on a low heat.
- Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions.
- Cut the pak choi in half lengthways and add to the ginger.
- Add the drained noodles, spring onions and lime juice and toss well, cooking for 5 minutes. Serve the noodles with the spareribs.
