- IT'S ALL ABOUT SUPPORT: A well-fitting sports bra will keep your breasts supported and comfortable during sport. Exercising without one could put you at risk of causing irreversible damage to the ligaments, which could cause premature sagging and stretch-marks.
- THE GOLDEN FLEECE: Good-fitting, fashionable clothing is key. Not only will it make you look and feel good, but also make your workout more comfortable. Luckily, the days of Spandex and lycra are over ...almost! Instead, opt for fabrics such as polyster combined with cotton which look good and allow movement. Fleece is soft and lightweight, provides good insulation and can be water-resistent. Avoid plastic clothes which cause sweating, can cause dehydration and muscle cramps and look hideous!
- H20-SO-SIMPLE: To keep your skin gorgeously glowing, ensure you drink plenty of water before, during and after exercise to keep dehydration at bay.
- SKIN DEEP: To ensure your skin is kept in tip-top condition, avoid wearing make up while exercising. Perspiring opens your pores, and foundation and concealer could cause them to become blocked, leading to pimples and blackheads. If you don't fancy heading outdoors without make-up, a coat or two of waterproof mascara will make the most of your lashes, opening up your twinklies without the worry of smudging.
- A MOIST-HAVE ITEM: Apply plenty of moisturiser with at least SPF 15 - the most important thing you can do for your face.
- ACHY BREAKY FEET: After a workout, your feet will be tired and achy. A cooling peppermint foot spray, followed by a nourishing cream will ensure feet are kept soft and gorgeous.
- POSITIVE THINKING! Stop thinking negative things and only ever let yourself think positive things about your body because you will start to believe them. Learn the art of acceptance.
- POSTURE COULD COST YA: Stand-up straight! Good posture will knock pounds off your weight and add inches to your height.
