Tesco is taking the precautionary measure of recalling the Tesco Rapid Boil Kettle after identifying that on small number of kettles, the bottom of the kettle may detach from the kettle body presenting a risk of burning/scalding to the user.

Only units of model JKRBP12 with the batch code 130309 are affected.

Customers can identify the model and batch code from the rating plate positioned on the bottom of the kettle and on the bottom of the base unit. See photo.

No other Tesco kettle batches or models are affected by this recall.

What you should do:

Customers should return the products to any Tesco store for a full refund. No receipt is required.

We have identified that seven codes of "Tesco Yeast Extract" 225g contain raised levels of histamine. This means that people who are intolerant to histamine may suffer a reaction to the product if consumed.

Tesco is taking the precautionary measure of recalling Tesco Simply Ginger Beer 500ml coded BB 31 March 14/ Batch Code L3081 due a small number of bottles being incorrectly filled with Tesco Simply Golden Ale (containing Barley malt and Gluten).

For identification, the incorrectly filled bottles have the Simply Golden Ale back label.

Customers allergic or intolerant to Barley or Gluten should not consume this product.

As a precautionary measure, KP Snacks has initiated a voluntary recall of 4 McCoy's multipack varieties, with a best before date of 15.06.2013, and a code (the 4 numbers below the best before date - see picture example below) of 3066

A small number of consumers have contacted us after finding small pieces of plastic in the product. To avoid any risk whatsoever to our consumers, we have decided to voluntarily recall the entire days production of these four McCoy's varieties.

Important safety notice BEKO 6Kg & 7Kg Condenser Tumble Dryer

As a valued Tesco customer, we would like to inform you about this important safety notice issued by BEKO about some of their Condenser Tumble Dryers.

BEKO have informed us that they are aware of a small number of cases of 6Kg and 7Kg Condenser Tumble Dryers where an electrical component has failed and overheated, leading to a potential risk of fire.
